Sunrise Walk with Survivors

On November 18, 2021, The Catholic Project joined bishops, interfaith leaders, and abuse survivors in a sunrise walk in Baltimore, Maryland. The event was organized by Jennifer Wortham of the Human Flourishing Program at Harvard University. It was meant to bring awareness to the effort to establish an International Day for Child Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Prevention, Healing, and Justice.

At sunrise, a small group gathered in the hotel where the USCCB was meeting for its final day of the General Assembly.
