The Certificate in Child Protection and Safe Environments

Online and Asynchronous

The Certificate in Child protection and Safe Environment provides training for students on the effects of trauma and sexual abuse. Students who receive this education will be able to more effectively respond to survivors and navigate difficult conversations around sexual violence. Courses in this interdisciplinary certificate are taught by experts in the National Catholic School of Social Service, the School of Theological and Religious Studies, the Columbus School of Law, and the School of Canon Law. The certificate program is available fully online, making it accessible to students across the country and even internationally. Diocesan staff, victims’ assistance coordinators, educators, social workers, and anyone responsible for Child Protection, in or outside of the Catholic Church.

Online Masters in Ecclesiastical Administration & Management

The goal of this course of study is to provide seminarians and newly ordained priests with a foundational understanding of business best practices. The Catholic University of America's Busch School of Business developed a curriculum that includes a one-week intensive workshop on campus consisting of the essentials of finance, management and accounting centered on virtue and ministry.
